Ribbons will be awarded to the first six competitors in each class.

    Points will be awarded to the horse and remain with the horse in the event of sale or transfer of ownership.  In such
    classes where exhibitor is being judged (Equitation) exhibitor will receive points.

    (Note: Please see rules and regulations handbook for explanation of points system.)

    To be eligible for year end awards a horse must be shown at least 5 times in that class during the year.

    Please refer to rules and regulations handbook for the manner in which ties will be handled.

    Annual Awards Banquet

    SHA holds an Annual Awards Banquet at the completion of the show season.  The awards banquet is held to celebrate a
    successful show season and to recognize the Champions and Reserve Champions for each class as determined by the
    points totals for participants.

    There will be 5 year end high point awards given to the horse and rider team with the highest points in each division
    (Halter, Hunter/Jumper, English, Western, Timed Events)

    In addition awards are given to Member of the Year , Sportsmanship award and the Carol Gibson award.  These are
    chosen by the President of the club.
